The Village Vet Services
A State of the Art Facility
The Village Vet is a complete, full service, state-of-the-art medical facility. Like people, animals benefit greatly from regular examinations to maintain optimum health. We’re also prepared to help your pet when it needs special attention.
Maintaining Well-Being
Preventative Health Care
We emphasize giving your pet a long, healthy life. We focus on wellness and preventative health while guiding the owner toward appropriate health care decisions.
Dentistry
General dental prophylaxis as well as diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including dental radiography, extractions, minor oral surgery, and periodontal therapy.
In House Laboratory
With an extensive In House Laboratory, most blood work and urine results can be obtained quickly to get your pet on the right plan before leaving the building. For those more in depth diagnostics, we work with an accredited and fully integrated reference laboratory.
When Your Pet Needs Extra Attention
General Medicine & Surgery
As your “Other Family Doctor” we are versed in handling a broad range of medical issues. All routine surgical procedures as well as some complex surgeries are performed onsite.
In House Digital Radiography
The Village Vet is equipped with state-of-the-art digital radiology to aid in diagnostics, along with tele-medicine consulting for those more complicated cases.
Advanced Imaging
If your pet needs a deeper look, we now offer ultrasonography and echocardiography appointments with Dr. Danielle Shemanski
Pain Management
We provide thoughtful and proactive pain management for soft tissue, orthopedic and arthritis pain, as well as during and after surgical procedures. We also employ cold laser therapy as an adjunct to our traditional medicine.
End of Life Counseling
We understand this can be an emotional time for all involved. Let us walk hand in hand with you through the steps and expectations. When it comes time, here are some links to help you prepare.

Referrals
As general practitioners there are times when certain medical issues are beyond our scope of expertise and the best interest of our patient is served by referral to a specialist. Such specialties include radiography consultation, ophthalmology, complex surgical procedures or medical conditions, oral surgery, physical therapy and complementary therapies including acupuncture and chiropractic.
